Why is my cat scratching his head raw, losing hair, and bumpy?

my cat is having a reaction on the left side of his head. he has two bumps on his left ear and he has a small patch of hair missing on the left side of his head. he continuously scratches that side of his head to a point where he bleeds a little. my family and i don’t really know what it is. and it’s been a week that it is there and is getting worse. Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | neutered | 4 years and 4 months old | 12 lbs
