Pet's info: Dog | English Pointer | Male | neutered | 65 lbs
My dog is a 65lb 6 year old English Pointer and has been limping on his left hind leg for a few weeks now. There is a bump on his back located on the same hip. He rarely puts that leg on the ground and he continuously extends that leg back (I’m assuming to stretch it and relieve pain?). When we move or left this leg he doesn’t seem to be phased by it. We have taken him to the vet before and they said nothing of it really. meds didn’twork He’s a very energetic boy and I am worried sick about him.

Poor Max! It is concerning he's been limping for a few weeks now. I'd take him back into the vet first thing Monday for further testing, such as a lameness exam and x-rays of the leg. Hopefully these tests will give a diagnosis so a treatment plan can be made. Best of luck.
