My new parakeet is sick: fluffed, sleepy, losing balance. What to do?

Just got parakeet one week ago. He's losing balance, has feathers fluffed, sleepy and pulls head back. Seems sick. :(. Pet's info: Bird | Parakeet | Female

Thanks for reaching out about Tucker. It is agreed, he does appears sick. Contacting the seller or seeing a veterinarian TODAY is recommended. Once birds show they are sick, they are fairly advanced. Removing perches, providing supplemental heat, offering food an dater via a syringe, can give some comfort, but is not in exchange for veterinary care. Good luck.
