Pet's info: Farm Animal | Horse | Male | neutered | 9 years and 8 months old | 1500 lbs
I feel like that would stress him out even more , I’m considering pts because he’s been threw so much already I just need a way to end his suffering I would never pts unless it was last resort I just don’t know if it’s the right thing to do , he’d never be in any stress or worry again . I just would feel so extremely guilty and would think I’ve made the wrong decision

Sometimes, when a horse is that stressed and out of his mind that he endangers himself and the people around him, pts is the best solution. It is also a decision for the horse's wellbeing, because a horse is a prey animal and living in constant stress to where it feels it needs to constantly defend itself by attacking is not the quality of life you wish for him. Sometimes it is the most humane solution. I am sorry you may have to make this decision, but if you do, I am sure it is in the best interest for the horse and you do not have to feel guilty.
