My cat hates harnesses. What's a comfortable, secure walking vest?

I had good advice from you to walk my cat,who loves outside with cat-harness and need some more advices,he hates to be hold in his chest area over the lungs when I take him from the ground,so instead of regular cat-harness I bought polar(he loves polar)vest with place for the leash,is that good or what is the best to be less disturbing and most difficult to take off,because he's strong and clever, I'm afraid if he escape from it,he won't come home for longer time and he will lose his trust in me. I would suggest sticking with a harness you are sure that your cat annoy scape from. Also, since you are taking him for walks regularly I would recommend making sure you have your cat microchipped so that if he does get away from you he will have a better chance of being returned.
