Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Male | neutered | 4 years and 4 months old | 35.3 lbs

Hello, My dog he had a broken spine about six months ago. We send him to the hospital in Thailand. After his surgery his back/spine was fine, but now after six month he still has the same problem that he couldn't control his toilet issue pee/poop. So his pee comes out followed by his poop all the times he moves. So he would always be dirty like this. Please help he save him, we can't take it anymore. We tried to give him medicines, we send him to the vet and many of the vets doesn't know how.thx

Unfortunately urinary and bowel incontinence from spinal damage is often permanent. Switching to a high fiber/low residue prescription diet such as Royal Canin Gastrointestinal Fiber Response may help reduce the amount of stool that is produced. Odie looks very sweet. I wish you the best.
