Why is my kitten's third eyelid red, eye changed, and nose swollen?

I'm very worried about my new kitty. I noticed that the area that I have come to know as the third eye was red. Today I came home and it was close to white however the color of her eye has changed and the bridge of her nose seems to be swollen. Help! Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Female | 6 lbs

That sounds serious. I recommend to get Kitty into see the veterinarian today. Fungal infections and trauma are the main things that come to mind although a tumor or a significant reaction to a foreign object in the nose may look like this. She needs to be evaluated and start the process of figuring out whats causing all this. Unfortunately, there's really nothing you can do as the process is internal.
