My dog barks and lunges at cars on walks. How can I stop it?

Pet's info: Dog | Chihuahua (Smooth Coat) | Male | 1 year and 1 month old | 8 lbs

Max always pulls and lunges and constantly barks at EVERY vehicle we walk by..... no matter how long of a walk or how much I tire him out.. it scares me, I've tried EVERYTHING I can possibly think of to make him stop...the barking is TOO much..what do I do??

I would try a citronella bark collar. This is not harmful and may deter him from barking as much. You may also consider an anti-anxiety medicine before walks like trazadone. Your vet can prescribe that if they feel like it is healthy for him. I hope this helps!
