Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Cat | Manx | Female | unspayed | 7.2 lbs

Hello , Imtaking care of a street cat and she had an infectionand fungal about 2 months ago and we treated it with medicine but recently it reappeared so they told us to bath the cat with a shampoo called Kenazole one every three days for two weeks, on the third bath I have noticed that dandruff has increased massively and covered a great portion of her back. How could I help her? And what should I do ( I have been affected by the cat's fungal but I'm taking medicine)

That is happening because this shampoo can dry up the skin quite a lot and cause dandruff. Supplement to maintain good skin condition can be used (like Coatex for example) but with normal nutrition and once skin condition is resolved coat should go back to normal.
