My parrot has yellow sticky stuff in its beak after eating. Normal?

Hello, as long as i can remember after eating my parrot will kinda bite his toes and have this yellow thick sticky stuff that shows inside his beak, above the tounge, & does this for 30mins every time, is this normal? or should i take him to a vet? Pet's info: Bird | Parrot | Male | 9 years and 6 months old
