My dog won't stop licking his back end. Is it fleas or allergies?

20m old dog constantly chewing, cleaning back end throughout all night x 1 week. Has been tx for fleas and ticks. Not sure if grooming related or should see vet. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Male | neutered | 1 year and 8 months old | 25 lbs

I would recommend having Jamar evaluated by your veterinarian so that they can examine his skin and discuss the need for skin testing such as an impression smear or gentle skin scrape.
