Hi will a food allergy cause major eye boogers and crustiness around the eyes?

It could but this could also be a sign of an eye infection. Food allergies are not the common dogs, while eye infections are much more common, so I would suspect Zeus may have an eye infection. Without seeing him in person, I can't say for certain. He should see a vet today for this problem. Best of luck.
