My dog not pooping after surgery. What can I give him to help?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Male | neutered | 1 year and 5 months old

Panda had surgery to remove his dew toe on 2 days ago he is eating and drinking well has been out to urinate twice but not pooped he is on cage rest so wonder if I should take to vet today or wait a another 2 days as he has to get bandage changed in 2 days time or can I give him something g to help him poop he is on dry food only and been on rimadyl and clavolox tablets daily since the operation and got both in a long acting injection when the removed infected toe.

I would recommend adding 1 tbsp of canned pumpkin to his diet and see if this helps normalize his bowel movements. If by the bandage change he has not defecated, you can discuss other options with your veterinarian. I hope this helps!
