My dog vomited Nexgard. Is he protected? Can I use a flea collar?

please could i ask, my 1 years old labrador takes every month nexgard flea tablets. unfotunately, the day when i gave him this tablet , he did vomit and am aftraid he vomit and the nexgard tablets, so he not be protected. is it ok to put on him in this case beaphar flea collar that he be protected this month. what do you think as am not sure if he did vomit the nexgard tablets or is in his body and will protect him Thank you Viktoriya

Hi there and thank you for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach to address your concern. If Chockey vomited 2-3 hours after you gave the Nexgard, it is likely that the tablet was digested and that he has the preventative in his system. If he vomited shortly after you gave the tablet, it is possible that he vomited up the nexgard. If you want to use a collar this should be absolutely fine as it is more of a topical preventative and not a systemic.
