I have found a stray german shepard. She gets scared when we put a collar/leash on her but will walk with us. We are trying to get her in the car to take her in to see if she's chipped, if she belongs to anyone and a check up of course if she doesn't belong to anyone, but she refuses to get in. We have tried food, picking up her front paws into the car, but she gets panicked I think, and seems like she may want to bite. How can we get her into the car?

Hello, thank you for using PetCoach. I think it is not a great idea to try and force her into a car. The best option, in my opinion, is to have a mobile vet come to your house. That way Roxy doesn't have to travel and she will be more comfortable. They can also probably help you with some ideas on how to get her used to getting into the car. it is hard for me to give advice on this without being present to see her behavior myself. I found a couple mobile vets in your area based on your zip code. Hope this helps! Best wishes! ( http://mobilecarevet.com/ ) ( http://www.travelingtails.com/ )
