My cat has URI, but is panting and drooling. Is it an emergency?

Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Shorthair | Male | unneutered | 7 months and 26 days old

I have a cat toby who came to the hime with URI and got another cat marble, sick but hes panting and drooling no vet nearby. Will this pass by? Is it normal for URI

Thank you for submitting your question regarding Marble. I'm sorry to hear that he is not feeling well. Panting is not normal in a cat and drooling is not a sign of a respiratory infection. So I am worried that he is more sick than Toby was. Panting typically indicates difficulty breathing and can be a sign of serious illness. I would recommend that he sees a veterinarian. The sooner he is evaluated, the sooner he can be helped before it gets any worse. I hope this information helps!
