Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! The answer is- maybe, with some cautions. First of all, it does interact (and decrease the effectiveness of) certain antibiotics so if she is an antibiotic, the answer is probably no. Second, there are reports of kidney damage from the use of colloidal silver in people. As cats are more at risk for kidney disease anyways, I am always a little hesitant about it. Last, long term consistent use can be associated with metal toxicity (rare). All that being said, a conservative dose from a knowledgeable holistic vet for a short time is likely safe. (Topical application is almost always safe.) Best of luck to you and Cap!
