Pet's info: Dog | Alaskan Malamute | Male | neutered | 90 lbs
My dog won’t eat, is falling asleep very quickly, has a very dry nose and mouth and doesn’t want to move. All happened very quickly over the past hour or so. He is taking piriton prescribed by a vet yesterday for itchy skin. Could this be causing his symptoms or could this be something else? I am very worried about him

Hello, sorry to hear about Blaze. This medication is known to cause sedation and make pets sleepy. They can also develop dry mouth and less commonly GI signs such as nausea and vomiting. You should inform your veterinarian that Blaze is experiencing these signs and ask to see if another medication can be tried to control Blaze's itchiness. Hope this helps and best of luck.
