Why is my dog still vomiting and having bloody diarrhea after months?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Male | neutered | 5 years and 4 months old | 55 lbs

Mixed breed male neutered lab 5yrs old . Since Dec 17 -17 until to-day has been having issses with vomiting . Now he also has blood in his very liquid type feces . This has been ongoing for 3 months ... take him to the vet and gets a shot of Maropitant ...good for three weeks then right back to sqare one . He has a temp , his protein level is up in his urine .He has been on antibiotics recently , till the end of Feb . Help please and thank you .

I'm so sorry that you are having this problem with Rocky. It sounds like Rocky has something going on internally that just isn't getting completely resolved. Often when I have chronic GI problems (vomiting and diarrhea), I will recommend going to an internal medicine specialist for additional specialized testing such as abdominal ultrasound and specialized blood testing. Although most specialists listed here are in in the US, hopefully you can find an internal medicine specialist near you at the website below that can help Rocky. http://find.vetspecialists.com/ Good luck!
