Is ProDen PlaqueOff Dental Bites safe for cats with poultry allergies?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | neutered | 14 lbs

My female cat is allergic to poultry and I am looking for a dental treat for in between brushing that both my cats could eat from. What are your thoughts on ProDen PlaqueOff® Dental Bites for cats, is it worth a try? If so, how often could I give this to them?

Hi there and thank you for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! PlaqueOff is a great product to try. We currently use the powder formulation for dogs and cats but if they have treats for cats this should be absolutely safe to try. As with any supplement, there are no guarantees it will work but it is worth a try. Please let me know if you have any other questions or concerns and I would be more than happy to help you further.
