Pet's info: Dog | Golden Retriever | Male | unneutered | 1 month and 24 days old | 6 lbs
My golden retriever pup is nearly 6 weeks old, I don’t know his exact age. Can he sleep in an air conditioned room? If yes, what should be the temptature? And does he need blankets?

Hello, thank you for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach. At approximately 6 weeks of age, a larger breed puppy such as a Golden Retriever, should be able to thermoregulate normally. You only have to worry about the ambient temperature of a room when talking about newborn puppies up to 4 weeks of age. Austin should be just fine at whatever temperature you have for yourselves and blankets should not be needed. Hope this helps. Best wishes!
