Why is my potty-trained dog suddenly peeing indoors without warning?

Why is my 5 year old German Shepard/chow mix suddenly peeing in my floor when he has been potty trained since a lil pup? He's not even whining to tell us he has to go. Just going. So not him

Inappropriate urinating behavior can actually be a sign of a urinary problem. It's also possible that this is a behavior issue, but I would want to rule-out a medical problem before retraining him not to pee in the house. Other signs of a urinary disease include an increase in urinating, urinating many times in small amounts, straining to urinate, blood in urine and an increase in drinking. It's best to have a vet evaluate Thor. They can do a few quick tests to see if anything is wrong and advise the necessary treatment. It's also good to ensure that the area where Thor has peed is cleaned well with an odor removing product (can find some good products at the pet store). Sometimes, dogs will continue to pee in the house, because they smell the urine and it makes them want to pee on the same spot again. I hope that helps and all is well with Thor.
