Pet's info: Dog | Siberian Husky | Female | spayed | 4 years and 7 months old | 65 lbs
I have a siberian husky and pretty sure she has an ear infection. she is scratching at it a lot, carrying her head tipped to the side. There is a discharge with nasty odor. Base of hear ear is warm. Opposite is similar but not as bad. Last couple days she has been helping when scratching at her ear. I just noticed the discharge last night. I have been using a damp cloth try to wipe them out. Intend to take her to a local vet on Monday. Is there I anything I can / should be doing for now?

Poor Luna! Taking her into the vet on Monday is exactly the right thing to do. You can use a cloth to continue to try to wipe her ear but I would avoid making it damp as water could get into her ear That will make any ear infection worse. I would place an Ecollar on her to keep her from scratching at her ear, as that will cause trauma to the ear. You can make an Ecollar at home, and I will put a link below on how to do that. Definitely get into her the vet first thing Monday. Best of luck! http://dogsaholic.com/care/homemade-dog-cone.html
