Pet's info: Cat | Maine Coon | Male | neutered | 10 years old | 9 lbs
So my little fur baby is 10. He’s a beautiful white maincoon and he is an affectionate little cat. He’s been fixed about 6 years ago too. His personality: He loves people, he loves treats, he loves sitting on me and he even does little gestures that imitate “humping” my blankets lol. He’s an inside cat. For 3 days he hasn’t been acting like himself. He’s howling all day and night he didn’t seem to care much about people where he would rub on us just to pass by us he didn’t show any affection he

The acute change in behavior may be a symptom of an overactive thyroid, elevated blood pressure which can occur secondary to hyperthyroidism, cardiac disease or primary neurologic disease. I would advise you to have Booboo evaluated by your veterinarian and discuss bloodwork including T4 levels, blood pressure, ECG, and urinalysis as a baseline.
