It is possible that a remnant of ovarian tissue was left behind during her spay and this is causing signs of heat. I would definitely recommend calling the vet's office where she was spayed and discussing the issue with them. In the United States we perform an ovariohysterectomy, removing both the ovaries and uterus. In some other countries the uterus is not removed and having the uterus present with ovarian tissue puts your dog at risk of having an infection called a pyometra which can be life threatening. The vet may need to go back in to remove the tissue. I would also worry if she did have her uterus removed that there is another source of bleeding that needs to be investigated. If her ovaries were truly removed and only a small remnant of tissue remained then she should not be able to get pregnant, but I would talk to your vet who did the surgery before you take that chance.

Hello, if Cana has been spayed she cannot get pregnant But if she is bleeding twice a year then either she has not been spayed properly or maybe she has not been spayed at all (if you adopted her after she has been spayed, maybe the person you adopted her from lied to you about it), because of these symptoms there is definitely a possibility she can get pregnant. dogs can get pregnant only about twice a year when they have their periods.
