It is term known to Shih Tzu breeders based on their hair coat. It is defined by a thinner, shorter coat that requires less grooming throughout their life. It is due to a recessive gene from breeding and can be common in a litter. It does not mean she is not full blooded. The coat can be a smoother compared to other shih tzus.
