Hi why is my shih tzu's hair is short and she does not look like a typical shih tzu. Both parents are pure shih tzu. Thanks so much. Pet's info: Dog | Shih Tzu | Female | unspayed | 4 months and 10 days old | 5.51156 lbs

She is young and does not have her full adult coat in yet. make sure she is on a good quality puppy food. You can brush her regularly as this can help. Give her more time as her puppy coat will start to change into her adult coat and the texture and length can still change.
