My dog scratches his collar and harness. Is it irritation or adjustment?

Pet's info: Dog | Pit Bull Terrier | Male | neutered | 6 months and 20 days old

Where i got my dog from he didn’t wear a collar. Now he has two collars and a harness and always scratches at all three like they’re irritating his skin or like he’s allergic to the material. Could this be a possibility or does he just need time to adjust to them?

I would give Gizmo time to adjust to wearing the harness and collar. If it is really bothering him I would recommend taking everything off when he is inside the house. That is as long as there is no risk to him running outside without a collar. If you see scabbing or reddness then I recommend a veterinarian since that could mean that there is an infection.
