I'm wondering if you mean omeprazole, as there is no drug that I am aware of called amorazole. Omeprazole is a prescription only medication for dogs, and you would need a prescription from a vet in order to get it, even when ordering it online. While there are online pet pharmacies, prescription meds require the vet sending in a prescription before sending it to you. I would speak to your vet about any medications Tilly may need, and they will prescribe them if necessary and appropriate. Unfortunately, it is illegal for the experts to prescribe any medications to our users. I hope this helps!

I can understand you wanting to check on this. This medication is dosed out at 0.5-1mg/kg rounded to the nearest 10mg. So this dose is appropriate for your pet and isn't too much. Tucker should be fine with this. Let your vet know if Tucker has any issues with the medicaiton prescribed or if his symptoms persist. Best wishes and take care.

Hopefully it is the same medication, although there have been lawsuits about mislabeled and counterfeit medications with online pharmacies. Also, you do need a prescription from your veterinarian in order to purchase these products. I would recommend visiting with your veterinarian, as there is a possibility they may price match for you. Even if you tried to buy the heartworm medication online, it still requires a script. Should you find heartworm medications that do not require a script, they are counterfeit. I hope this helps!

Hi there. Unfortunately, there are no heartworm preventatives that are available over-the-counter - by definition, these are prescription products. But, you can certainly choose to order them through an online pharmacy like 1-800-PetMeds or Chewy.com if you like, as these may be less expensive than purchasing through your vet's office. Your veterinarian should be able to give you a prescription to have filled at any pharmacy you choose, as long as your pet has had an exam within the past year. :)
