Dog eats own poop. Tried to add small amount of canned pumpkin to dog food, now dog is eating grass and throwing up. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Female | spayed | 55 lbs

There a number of reasons that dogs will eat their own (or another dog's) stool. You didn't mention how old Paige is, but I suspect she is an adult. Any significant behavioral change like that (especially when accompanied by a physical change like vomiting), should be evaluated by a veterinarian. So, I would recommend having your veterinarian examine Paige. They will be able to give her an anti-nausea medication to stop the vomiting and hopefully be able to help figure out what caused this problem. Good luck! I hope that was helpful.
