Newborn puppies crying in hot weather: Is this normal or dangerous?

Pet's info: Dog | German Shepherd | Female | unspayed | 1 year and 3 months old | 59 lbs

Soska’s newborns are 5 days old they always cry when the sun is up and weather is hot because we live in egypt it is very hot here when the sun goes down and the weather is good all of them start nursing and sleep then nurse and become very normal until the weather is hot again this is notmal that newborns cry if weathers is hot?

Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! They could jut be more vocal during the day because of all the activity. I would try to keep them indoors where there is air conditioning and fans. If they have to be outdoors then they should be in the shade and not ever in the direct sun. The puppies should not get too hot as that is life threatening, so see what you can do to the environment to change the ambient temperature. I wouldn't recommend the ambient temperature higher than 80 F. I wish you the very best!
