Is it normal for my adult cat to eat less and seem lethargic?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | 1 year and 9 months old | 8 lbs

My cats ate sufficient foods earlier. Now a days my cats are eating less quantities of foods with which they are habituated . I tried several types of food in several ways, but they are not eager to eat .They seem to be lathergic . What can I do? When cats become grown up,wether they eat less quantities? Thanks a lot.

Cats tend to eat slightly less once they have finished growing and their behavior can also settle as they grow up. If there is any weight loss or other signs of ill thrift such as poor coat or muscle condition i would recommend a full health check. Be sure to keep up to date with deworming medications and other preventions
