My new puppy won't eat, pees often, and cries when left alone. Why?

Hi! we have had our puppy for 2 and a half weeks. We got her at 8 weeks old. She was a rescue and we think she was separated from her mom too early. She has been doing well but the past couple days she won't eat from her bowl or a plate she will only eat from our hand or the floor. Even though we take her out every two hours and she is pretty much potty trained she has peed in the house 4 times in 2 hours. Also, anyime we leave the room or put her in the crate she cries loudly.

It is possible she may have a urinary tract issue with frequent urinating, a simple test by your own vet can help check this. Reduced appetite may be due to this, but many pups which are weaned early lack the skills and confidence to eat when not directly supervised. Dislike of being left alone is also very common and can lead to separation anxiety issues if not approached sensitively but consistently by providing comforting toys and treats and slowly increasing the times she is left to build confidence and independence
