My 12-week Boston Terrier puppy is so itchy. What can I do now?

my dog is looking at me like he is clearly miserable and I completely understand. He Is a 12 week old, Boston terrier male. I know he is up to date on his flea medication but he is non stop scratching even through the night. what can I do for him, short of going to the vet? we have an appointment in a few days and they are packed with appointments which is why I'm trying to find a temporary fix

You can give him a cool bath in a hypoallergenic shampoo. That will soothe the skin. You can also give some Benadryl for the itching. There is a section on this website that has information and dosages for common over the counter medications. I’m glad you are taking him in since that’s unusual for a puppy to be that itchy.
