Is my dog in pain if his stomach is tight and he hasn't pooped?

Does stomach of dog becomes tight while touching him if he hasn’t done his potty in a day and stores inside?

The tightness of the belly indicates that he is in pain. This can be due to constipation, but can also be due to diseases of the intestines or other organs (i.e. liver) in the abdomen.
