Why is my cow's vulva swollen and painful 2 months after calving?

My cow the vulva is swollen and painful, it is also reddish, 2 months have passed since it gave birth, what could be the cause and any possible treatment please

She may have had an injury that happened during calving, inflammation, insect bites, hormonal problems. You should have a veterinarian examine her, as she will need a vaginal exam, he needs to check whether the uterus has involuted properly or has fluid in it or a mummified fietus (even if she gave birth to a calf two months ago), take her temperature and check her udder for mastitis. Her vulva looks like there is some inflammation or infection going on.

    Quite often the vulva can be damaged in Labour, usually it is just stretched but sometimes it can also tear. I don't see any obvious tear here, so as long as there is no tearing on the inside I imagine it is simply a case of inflammation due to the trauma of birth. Antinflammatories such as meloxicam or flunixin meglumine should help.
