My dog has a bleeding lump 4 weeks after neutering. Is this normal?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Male | neutered | 9 months and 1 day old | 24 lbs

My dog was castrated 4 weeks ago n now has a lump that looks like pic n its bleeding

Unfortunately i cannot see the picture of it, which would be ideal to give you a specific answer, but I can guess that is a small herniation of muscle/subcutaneous tissue coming through surgical incision (which i guess is healed now) or the result of a chronic inflammation (possibly due to licking the area). In both cases a check up would be required to confirm clinical suspicons and treat appropriately.     Hi, it might be just a bit of reaction of inflammation to the inner stitches. If you are worried, have him rechecked. If he seems well in himself I will give him more time.
