My puppy had diarrhea, now no poop for over a day. Is this normal?

My puppy had really bad diarrhea for a day and now he hasn't pooped at all in over 30 hours. Is that odd? Or normal after servere diarrhea? He doesn't have A fever and he's eating and drinking well. The vet put him on panacur. She said that was the cause of the diarrhea. Could that constipate him? Thank you. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Male | neutered | 6 months and 11 days old | 35 lbs

It is actually normal for them to have this pause in the regular bowel movement cycle after a bad case of diarrhea. With bad diarrhea they tend to empty their bowels and when it abruptly gets better it can take a couple of days before the gut is functioning regularly again. From what you described, it looks like the treatment is working well and he is likely on the mend. I hope that helps and all is well with Blitz.
