My dog's cellulitis still red & painful after antibiotics. Vet visit?

Pet's info: Dog | Border Collie | Male | 3 years and 9 months old

Trick has cellulits his wound has healed but his skin is red and he still has lumps around the tendon sheath and he I'd tender if touch the area he will growl he is half way through his antibiotics should I be worried and take back to vet or see if it settles on Thursday if he isn't 80% better vet wanted to see him so wondering if I need to get checked.or not .

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! I would agree that if Trick is not getting better by then it would be very important to have him evaluated by your veterinarian. The main reason is that cellulitis needs to be treated and re-evaluated promptly as these lesions can worsen very easily and it is always better to be cautious. Good luck!
