My dog on phenobarbital still has cluster seizures. How to prevent?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Large (61lb +) | Male | unneutered | 10 years and 2 months old

My dog has siezures, the pheno controls them but every 5 to 6 weeks he will go through a cluster that lasts almost 2 days, they are not bad siezures but what can i do to prevent the clusters, he is on 64.8 mg twice a day

You will need to take Freddy back to your veterinarian for a blood test checking phenobarbital levels and possibly an adjustment of his medication or change of medication. This can only be done with a hands-on exam. If you are able to, video one of these cluster seizures and take the video to your vet so he can see them.
