We got my dog tested and did cultures and finally got rid of her UTI but she still has a little problem with incontinence and I was wondering about the drug proin. I know somebody that had a puppy and the same thing happened and it was put on proin for about a year because their vet said it might take some time for their your readers to become attached to the bladder stronger or too mature more after a year on proin the animal no longer have incontinence

Hello, thank you for your question about Isla. Proin is a potential option for treating urinary incontinence. I would recommend ensuring that Isla has completely cleared the UTI as incontinence can also be indicative of a residual UTI. If the infection has been cleared fully, I would recommend discussing the use of Proin with your veterinarian. Proin is a relatively safe medication that can be used short or long term to help with female incontinence. Hope this helps, good luck!
