My cat is breathing heavily and not moving. Is this an emergency?

Pet's info: Cat | Persian | Male | unneutered | 11 months and 29 days old | 7 lbs

Hello. My cat is very dormant now , he doesnt move , just lays down. Doesnt eat nor drink. Doesnt play nor meow. His eyes are not very open and his breathing is really heavy. His chest/abdomin area rises and falls really heavily and rapidly. The local vet is closed and wont be open for at least 1 more day. I need help or at least some type of diagnosis please.

These signs may be compatible with a chest infection or alternatively to a cardiac problem. The two differentials must be ruled out asap as this could be a medical emergency. Pleural space or thoracic cavity could have fluid building up.
