Why is my unneutered male cat meowing loudly? Should I be concerned?

My cat is meowing like crazy. Sometimes he comes up to me and meows directly at me other times he goes to the doors and windows and meows extremely loud. If I pet him he calms down for a few minutes but then goes right back to it. Should I be concerned? Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | unneutered | 10 months and 6 days old | 10 lbs

I see that Lucifer isn't neutered. More than likely, he has reached sexually maturity, and wants to go out to find females with which to mate. Probably soon he will start urine marking in the house to mark his territory. Even letting him out to mate will not stop the behavior, it will continue. If you want to stop this behavior completely, have him neutered. Best of luck.
