My cat has a healing cut under his collar. When should I see a vet?

Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | unneutered | 9 months and 6 days old | 7 lbs

Hi I noticed a cut on my cat that was hidden beneath his collar. He hasn't been acting as if he's in pain and the cut looked like it's already somewhat heald what should I do ?

Hi A pic helps in this cases so I always suggest to attach pics. But since there are none , in general , if the cut is already healing and showing no signs of infection such as redness, discharge, pain, swelling and the cat is not bothered by it , scratching etc you can monitor it is healing till its gone. If Any signs as the one mentioned above start take him to the vet. Also according to your question the scratchbis under the collar so it may ne a good idea to take off the collar just for a while to air the area . Hope this helps
