My 2-year-old Great Dane pees in his sleep, but shows no pain?

Pet's info: Dog | Great Dane | Male | neutered | 2 years and 8 months old | 160 lbs

2 year old Great Dane has recently had 2 big urination accidents in his sleep. He's not displaying any pain during urination during the day. He's his usual playful self.

Hello. He may have a urinary tract infection, but this may also be a neurological issue, too, perhaps the beginning of a compressed disc. Have your vet take a look & make sure they do a neurological exam & test his placing reflexes especially with his hind legs. I have seen this before in young danes & you do want to address this before the problem potentially progresses. Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach.
