My dog is vomiting, has diarrhea, ate a toy. Is it an emergency?

Pet's info: Dog | American Staffordshire Terrier | Male | neutered | 1 year and 2 months old | 79 lbs

My dog had diarrhea for a couple of days now but last night started vomiting after he ate some his toy it was in the throw up I also put this lavender stuff on him yesterday and itch soothing spray he is licking a lot hasn't been eating drinking wanting to go outside going potty my son said he went pee at vet when came back from vet today drank water within hour threw up gave him the stomach meds from vet within hour threw up vet is closed so what should i do I'm worried what is wrong

Thank you for submitting your question regarding Hercules. If he has continued to vomit, he will need to see his veterinarian again. It is worrisome that he vomited despite giving him the Cerenia tablet. This is a strong medication designed to control nausea and vomiting. If the vomits through it, there is a chance of an obstruction in his stomach or intestines. He could have more of the toy still inside him. His veterinarian will likely recommend x-rays of his belly.
