I have a cat that infected by feline panleukopenia virus, And the vet told me, if one cat infected by that virus, all of the cats were infected too in that house. Unfortunately i have 12 cats i my house, 7 adult, and 5 kittens. And none of them were vaccinated. The vet also said that they couldn't be vaccinated because they already infected by panleu virus. And she told me the only way is keep the cats healthy, and clean the house with desinfectant. Do they really couldn't be vaccinated?

At this point, it will not help to vaccinate the other cats because they've already been exposed to the virus - all it would do, would be to weaken their immune system. It won't provide protection quickly enough to be of any use. I agree that cleaning and disinfecting the house is a good idea, as well as keeping the infected cat isolated from the others. In 2-3 weeks, you could talk to your veterinarian about vaccinating the other cats if they still aren't showing any symptoms.
