My dog has a soft bump near his eye. Is it serious if it's painless?

What is this bump near my dog’s eye? It’s soft to the touch and doesn’t appear to bother him. He does have a habit of rubbing his face on the bed or couch when upset. Pet's info: Dog | Pug | Male | neutered | 10 years old | 25 lbs

Hi, it is a little growth. It would be better to have it tested with a fine needle aspirate to understand what kind of growth it is. If it is a benign lump, it could grow and cause irritation as it is very close to the eye. I would therefore recommend to have it checked over. Hope this helps !
