My Syrian Male Hamster is nearlly 3yrs old. He sleeps alot and his back leg is lame. He has a slight patch of flaky skin on his back and drinks alot. I have to bave his eyes as he has trouble opening them. He is so loved and well kept. Is it just old age or should I get him checked out?

Hi, Sully is a very good age and apart from his eyes that might benefit from some eye drops I doubt that there is much else that can be done. I personally think most of his symptoms are due to old age. Hope this helps and congratulations on taking such a good care of him.
