Why is my dog's chest sore swollen, making her tired and slow?

Pet's info: Dog | Great Pyrenees | Female | spayed | 7 years and 9 months old | 74 lbs

My dog has a sore on her chest that appears to get better and then gets worse ive been keeping it covered and clean and she has been eating and drinking like normal until a few days ago her activities were normal now her chest seems swollen right above the sore and she is more tired than normal and she seems to be having trouble moving around but is still eating and drinking

I recommend to have Sadie seen by her veterinarian to have that lesion examined. Just like with people, any skin lesion that continues to open up, heal and then open up again is suspicious for a skin cancer. Also like which people, the doctor may need to remove the lesion or take a sample of the lesion to know what it is. Treatment will depend on the results. Continue to protect the lesion from trauma.
